Exercise 'Wyvern Trench' is a 'War Walk' on Salisbury Plain Training area to discover the archaeological artefacts from the First World War and see where the 3rd Australian Division conducted its training in preparation for the battle of Messines in 1917. There will also be a cemetery visit, where some of the soldiers killed during the training are buried, with a chance to hear stories of their deaths. Devon Poppy Appeal Launch

The launch of this year's Poppy Appeal will take place on Saturday 24th October in Exeter City Centre. The city will see a parade of military vehicles, serving  military personnel and Cadets and young people and veterans.  Bands from the ATC and 6 Rifles will play and a poppy drop will take place over the parade. Come along to see the spectacle, and to support the local launch of this very good cause.
