WW1-themed Author event at Dartmouth Library

3 July 2014 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

£1.50

On Thursday 3rd July, Dartmouth Library will be hosting an Author Event to commemorate the First World War centenary.

Totnes-based author Anna Hope is going to talk about her novel ‘Wake’, set in 1920.

The novel follows the journey of the Unknown Soldier from France to England, and three women (a sister, a girlfriend, a mother) learning to cope with loss after the Great War.

Anna Hope will talk about her book, then, after a glass of wine, the audience will join in a discussion of the book and its themes, like a larger-than-usual Reading Group session.

The event will run from 5pm until 6.30pm on Thursday 3 July at Dartmouth Library.  Tickets are £1.50
