Berrynarbor WW1 Centenary Day

2 August 2014 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

£0.50

The village of Berrynarbor in North Devon will be holding a WW1 Centenary Day in the Manor Hall, Berrynarbor on Saturday 2nd August from 10am – 4pm.

A special exhibition will cover many aspects of life at home during 1914 and onwards, with references to the conflict itself.

There will be a special period kitchen display with items and produce of the period, and a wide range of foods (pies, puddings and even ‘Trench Soup’) will be available to taste and purchase.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day by Berrynarbor ladies in period costume.

All proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the Royal Star & Garter Homes who have cared for the nation’s military family since 1916.

Please come and support this special event in our beautiful village.
