Lustleigh Remembers

On the evening of Thursday August 28th,  the Lustleigh ringers will ring a muffled toll on the Lustleigh church bells to mark the centenary of the death of the first man from the village, Col.Frank Ridley Farrier Boileau, to be killed during the First World War.

A muffled toll will be repeated on the centenary of the deaths of every man lost from the village.

The church will be open to visitors throughout the day, with an exhibition displaying information about the life of Frank Boileau.
