Dartmoor Life in the First World War – exhibition

The Dartmoor Life in the First World War Exhibition is open daily from 7th March to 9th September 2015 at the National Park Visitor Centre, Princetown.

Entry is free. The Exhibition describes through images and words, living conditions in the early 1900s, the impact of the 1914 – 18 War on Dartmoor communities and the legacy of the War.  This is a partnership between the Dartmoor Trust and the Dartmoor National Park Authority.

In parallel, an educational website, to be hosted by www.dartmoortrust.org is being developed to assist teachers and help students to understand how people lived in the early 1900s, the effects of the War on families and their way of life, and the legacies of the 1914-18 War.
