Devon Remembers Heritage Project

DRHP

The Devon Remembers Heritage Project gives local people an opportunity to explore the county’s First World War experience and tell new stories about life in Devon one hundred years ago.

It is led by the South West Heritage Trust, a new charity that celebrates and protectSWHT logo - smalls our region’s rich heritage, helping everyone to enjoy it now and in the future.

The Devon Remembers Heritage Project aims to tell the distinctive story of Devon during the First World War.

The project team (Katherine Findlay and Dawn Roberts) is based at the Devon Heritage Centre in Exeter and works with communities and organisations across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.  They can be contacted on 01392 381975 or emailed at katherine.findlay@swheritage.org.uk

Take a look at the Devon Remembers Heritage Project website to find out about how you are able to get involved with research and micro-projects, or contributing the local studies archive and WW1 book collection throughout the centenary period, and about events and exhibitions that will be planned through to 2019.
